Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 April 2026

This Policy describes how the Picoria service (picoria.com) uses cookies and similar technologies. The Policy is drafted under the requirements of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ «On Personal Data» dated 27 July 2006 and forms an integral part of our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in a user's browser when the user visits the site. They allow the site to remember user actions and preferences for a period of time, so the user does not have to re-enter them on each visit or page navigation.

In addition to cookies, the Service may use similar technologies: browser local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), web beacons (pixel tags), and device identifiers. Hereafter all of them are collectively referred to as «cookies».

2. Categories of cookies we use

The Service uses the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. Ensure the basic operation of the Service, including authentication (the pc_sid session-id cookie), security, and CSRF protection. These cookies cannot be disabled without losing Service functionality.
  • Functional cookies. Save user preferences (interface language, cookie-consent state, modal-window state).
  • Analytics cookies. Used to collect de-identified statistics on attendance and user behavior. Includes Yandex Metrica cookies. These cookies are set only after the user gives consent.
  • Marketing cookies. Used to deliver targeted Picoria offers and to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They are activated only with user consent.

3. Processing purposes

  • authentication and session maintenance;
  • ensuring security and protection against fraud;
  • saving settings and language preferences;
  • analyzing user behavior and improving the Service;
  • personalizing the interface and content;
  • evaluating the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and measuring conversion.

4. Retention periods

Cookies are divided by lifespan into the following groups:

  • Session cookies. Deleted as soon as the browser closes.
  • Persistent cookies. Stored in the browser for a defined period — from several days to 24 months — or until manually deleted by the user.

The exact retention period depends on the cookie's purpose and is set in accordance with the principle of personal-data-processing minimization.

5. Third parties

The Service is integrated with the following third-party providers, which may set their own cookies:

  • YANDEX LLC (Yandex Metrica) — attendance measurement and analytics;
  • JSC Tinkoff Bank — payment processing;
  • authentication providers (Telegram, VK, Yandex, Google) — when using sign-in via third-party accounts.

The use of cookies by third parties is governed by their own privacy policies. Picoria is not responsible for the way third parties handle cookies.

6. Managing cookies

On first visit, the user is given the option to accept or reject non-essential cookies. The user may change this decision at any time by:

  • deleting cookies in browser settings and choosing a new consent option on the next visit;
  • disabling specific categories of cookies in browser settings;
  • using the browser's private browsing mode;
  • installing dedicated cookie-management browser extensions.

Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly, including making it impossible to sign in to your account.

7. Changes to this Policy

Picoria reserves the right to amend this Policy. The current version is always available at picoria.com/en/cookies. Material changes are additionally communicated to users via in-Service notifications.
